📅 Cancellation, Refund & Booking Policy

At PD Power Remaps, we aim to be transparent and fair with all customers. This policy explains our booking, cancellation, and refund terms for both service bookings and digital/physical product sales, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

❗ Notice Period
- Cancellations: Minimum 24 hours’ notice required.
- Reschedules: Minimum 12 hours’ notice required.
💳 Deposits & Refunds
- Appointment deposits secure your booking slot and cover allocated time and preparation work, and are non-refundable unless:
- PDpower Remaps declines or cannot fulfil the booking.
- The booking is cancelled by us due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances.
- A clear booking error has occurred on our side.
- If you have paid the full amount online in advance:
- Refunds may be issued minus the deposit if 24 hour notice is given, if the booking is declined by us then full refund will be available.
- Cancellations under 24 hours are not refundable otherwise.
📊 Custom Tuning, Remap Results & Performance Estimates
- All performance figures, power gains, and torque estimates provided by PDpower Remaps are estimated figures only.
- Estimates are based on a healthy engine, supporting hardware, and correctly functioning vehicle systems.
- Actual results may vary depending on vehicle condition, maintenance history, fuel quality and installed modifications.
- Vehicles with existing mechanical, electrical, sensor, turbo, clutch, or fueling issues may not achieve estimated results and may require repairs before optimal performance can be achieved.
- For modified vehicles (hybrid turbos, injectors, FMIC, 4 bar MAP sensors, etc.), results will depend heavily on the quality of parts, installation, and overall setup.
- Dyno figures, online examples, and previous customer results are provided as a general guideline only and are not guaranteed for every vehicle.
- If a customer chooses to proceed with tuning on a vehicle known to have faults or incomplete modifications, they do so at their own risk and accept full responsibility for any related issues.
- By booking a remap or custom tuning service, you acknowledge that performance gains cannot be guaranteed and are influenced by the vehicle’s mechanical condition and supporting modifications.
- Once a remap, tuning file, or custom calibration has been successfully installed and the service completed, the service is considered fulfilled and non-refundable.
🔄 Rescheduling Rules
- One free reschedule per booking.
- £20 fee applies to any additional reschedules.
- This helps prevent last-minute gaps and ensures fair scheduling for all customers.
⏱️ Late Arrival Policy
- 20-minute grace period allowed for lateness.
- After 20 minutes, your appointment may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited — a new deposit will be required to rebook.
- If lateness causes the session to overrun, a £20 overrun fee may apply.
🚘 Vehicle & Booking Details
- If incorrect vehicle information is provided and prevents the remap from going ahead:
- If you travel to us: Only the deposit is lost. Any remaining balance (if paid in full) will be refunded. You may rebook once the issue is fixed.
- If we travel to you: £1 per mile travel cost (round trip) + £50 diagnostic fee will apply for time spent checking the vehicle.
- If you still wish to proceed despite known vehicle faults, we can install a base map. You accept full responsibility for any issues resulting from doing so.
🛑 Late Booking Cutoff
Bookings made with less than 12 hours’ notice are not eligible for reschedule or refund and will need to be rebooked with a new deposit.
📍 Mobile Booking Info
- Your assigned mapper will contact you to confirm the meet-up location weather its a half way location , the mobile mappers area or your address / workplace or chosen area.
- Mobile remapping can be arranged at your home, workplace, or another location of your choice within 50 miles each way or 1 hour whichever comes first of the mapper’s base at no extra cost for full remap services only.
- Free travel within the 50-mile / 1-hour range does not apply to coding, diagnostics, map tweaks, add-ons, revisions, or small update jobs, which may incur a travel fee.
- For locations beyond this, travel is charged at £1 per mile (round trip) for the distance exceeding the free 50-mile allowance.
🌪️ Emergencies
In rare cases where PD Power Remaps cannot attend due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen issues, your booking will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
By booking any service, you agree to all terms listed in this section.
💻 Digital Downloads (Tuning Files & Software)
All digital purchases from PD Power Remaps — including remap files, software, and calibration data — are non-refundable and non-returnable once the file has been accessed, downloaded, or delivered.
This is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which remove the right to cancel once a digital product has been supplied and download access has begun.
If you experience any issues such as:
- Corrupted or inaccessible files
- Incorrect or incomplete file delivery
Please contact support@pdpowerremaps.com and we will promptly provide a corrected or replacement file at no additional cost.
⚙️ Physical Products (Plug-and-Play ECUs / Accessories)
We only offer exchanges or replacements for physical items that are faulty or damaged upon arrival.
- You must notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery.
- Item must be unused, unmodified, and returned in its original condition.
- Proof of purchase and evidence of the fault (e.g. photo or video) must be provided.
Once assessed and approved, we’ll arrange a replacement or exchange depending on availability. We do not accept returns for change of mind or correctly supplied, working items.
🚫 Exceptions & Exclusions
- Custom-made or coded ECUs are non-returnable once programmed or dispatched.
- Files, maps, and remaps made to customer specification are non-refundable once delivered.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed faulty.
- Any misuse, modification, or attempted repair voids eligibility for exchange or refund.
⚖️ Legal Compliance
This policy complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.
