By booking, purchasing, requesting, receiving, downloading, or flashing any calibration file/service from PDpower Remaps, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
⚙️ File Service – Terms & Conditions
By requesting and downloading our custom calibration files, you agree to the following:
✅ Responsibility
- You take full responsibility for how the calibration is used.
⚠️ Liability Disclaimer
- We are not liable for any engine or component damage, especially from:
- Pop & bang maps
- Requested high-risk or “dangerous” tuning add-ons
💾 No Warranty
- All files are provided without warranty, expressed or implied.
📊 Required Information (Standard/Custom Remaps)
- Dyno runs
- Full logs
- Health reports (before and after mapping)
❗ Flash Approval
- We must give the go-ahead before you flash the file — otherwise we cannot guarantee safe operation or assist with issues.
🔧 Vehicle Condition
- Your vehicle must be mechanically sound prior to tuning:
- No logged fault codes
- No boost leaks
- All sensors functioning
- No limp mode
- Healthy fuel, air, and exhaust systems
❌ Faults & Refunds
- Remapping will not proceed if faults are found.
- No refund will be issued.
🌍 Legal & Emissions
- If the calibration violates local laws or emissions regulations:
- You accept full responsibility for using that file.
- PD Power Remaps will not be held liable for the use of emission bypass software on road vehicles.
- Vehicles must continue to meet Euro Emission Standards.
🧰 Tools & Safety
- Ensure your tool is capable of writing the file back safely.
- Once sent, files are non-refundable and must be paid for.
- We provide file-only services – if ECU recovery is required, please contact your tool supplier.
⚠️ Clone Tools / Out of Subscription
- Using clone tools or tools out of subscription? You must have a recovery solution ready – we accept no liability.
🧠 Checksums
- Left for your tool to correct (except for EDC15)
- You must accept checksum correction when prompted
🔁 Chargebacks
- In the event of a chargeback, we reserve the right to revoke all future file access and support.
🚗 Mobile Mapping / Postal ECU – Terms & Conditions
By requesting our mobile or postal ECU calibration services, you agree to the following:
✅ Responsibility
- You take full responsibility for how the calibration is used.
⚠️ Damage Disclaimer
- We are not responsible for any engine or component damage caused by:
- Pop & bang tuning
- Requested high-risk or dangerous tuning features
🔧 Vehicle Readiness
- You are responsible for ensuring the car has:
- The correct supporting modifications
- All parts installed before our arrival
🧪 Pre-Tuning Diagnostic
- A pre-tuning diagnostic check will be carried out.
- If the vehicle is found unfit for tuning, service can be refused.
- In this case, no refund will be issued.
🔥 Increased Mechanical Stress
- By tuning your vehicle, you accept increased mechanical stress placed on:
- Engine
- Drivetrain
- Turbos
- Cooling systems
- Clutch and transmission
💥 Risk Acceptance
- Performance modifications are done at your own risk.
🌍 Legal & Emissions
- If the calibration violates local laws or emissions regulations:
- You accept full legal responsibility
- PD Power Remaps is not liable for any emissions-related consequences
🔁 Chargebacks
- In the event of a chargeback, we reserve the right to revoke access to any future services.
📊 Data Usage & General Terms
💾 Data Usage
- Any logs or data shared with PD Power Remaps may be stored and used internally to improve calibration development and service quality.
⚖️ Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for:
- Damage from pre-existing mechanical faults
- Incorrect flashing methods
- Use of clone tools
- ECU removal/reinstallation errors
- Legal consequences of modified emissions systems
💳 Payments & Acceptance
- File services must be paid for in advance. No exceptions.
- By booking, purchasing, or flashing any file, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
